20 Feb. – Exchange
volunteer Fire-fighters from Balcarce, Province of Bs. As for Fire-fighters
from Venezuela and Panamá.
With the support of JICA and ABJA, among others,
the Local Development Agency, through alumni Mr. Daniel González
Gómez, has succeeded in placing two professionals from abroad
with the Volunteer Fire-fighters of Balcarce, in order to train
the active brigade exchange some experiences.
Alumni Lester Burker, from JICA Panamá,
and Edixon Pastor Almeida, from JICA Venezuela lectured on “structural
fires”, “forest fires”, “vehicle rescue”,
“use of ropes” and “Japanese techniques of rescue”.
Moreover, they participate in the rescue operation which took place
during the Turismo Carretera car racing in Juan Manuel Fangio racing
circuit.
