Becoming a member of the “Asociación de Becarios de Japon en Argentina” – ABJA
 
It allows you to:

Be a part of the Network integrated to the JICA ALUMNI ASSOCIATION, along with 103 other associations in 89 countries, with over 50,000 members throughout the world.
* Participate in the elaboration and presentation of projects.
*
Implement what you learned through actions meant to improve the development status of your institution and community.
*
Exercise, through your vote, the right to choose who will lead the life of the Association and so, define the policies it will adopt.
* Be a candidate for elective functions after being a member for a certain amount of time.
* Exhibit your condition as a member of the Association.
* Participar en actividades de ayuda humanitaria organizadas por la Asociación.
* Be an ambassador of the Association when your academic or professional activities take place outside the country.
 
The Association offers you:

Its capital in relationships and horizontal articulation with other Alumni in Public Institutions and the Private Sector.
* The ability to achieve visibility, the capacity to influence in the Public agenda and policies.
*
Inter-institutional articulation and feedback, so what you learned through the scholarship will allow to lead initiatives for the sustainable development with impact in the local, regional, national and international community.
*
A part in a chain of skills and wills, whose links of knowledge and experience extend and increase geometrically, in a way that the solutions found for one type of problem, in a determined part of the planet – in our case, Japan- transcend and are adapted to other spaces in our national environment.
 
What are the requisites for being an Associate?
* A firm believe in the Objectives of the Association
* A line of conduct in accordance to the Ethical Values of the Association.
* Submitting a Membership Application to the Board of Directors of the Association.
* Complying with the obligations exposed in this Statute, its Reglamentation, and the resolutions of the Assemblies and the Board of Directors.
* Paying an annual association fee.
* Partaking in one activity during the year, to cooperate with the Association.
* Participating with Say and Vote in the Assemblies from the time the membership is granted.
* Keeping Personal Information updated.
 
Being a member of the Alumni Association – ABJA – is a privilege and a commitment we deeply value. Participating actively in the Association, supporting its development in different ways ultimately means achieving the goals of the scholarship and being able to show why we were selected.
